Hi Reader!
Easter is this weekend, and honestly I haven't prepared as much as I would have liked. But sometimes things get busy and that happens.
I'm glad that even last minute plans can make for special holidays!
If you've been busy lately too and haven't had a chance to plan much for Easter, I hope this email helps you out in the food department!
First, the candy
If you want your kids to have fun with all the candy, but loading them up with all the artificial colors and flavors doesn't sound like the best plan, here are some of my favorite healthier candy options:
Honestly, pretty much any candy from YumEarth and Unreal is delicious!
If Amazon can't get it to you in time for Easter, check your local upscale grocery store or health food store! Publix, Natural Grocers, and even Costco often carry these brands.
Easter breakfast - Healthy Egg Strata
This is my all-time favorite holiday breakfast recipe, and it's just perfect for Easter morning! Loaded with eggs, cheese, and seasoned ground beef, it's packed full of incredible flavor and nutrition for the perfect start to your day.
You can make it the night before, and bake it Sunday morning while everyone's getting ready for the day!
